The Mapping of the 1900's automotive ecosystem in Detroit

I didn't know it at the time, but this article would be the beginning of the book I am writing. I conducted four months of research, mapping the founders and investors of the Detroit automotive ecosystem. I looked at how the industry in Detroit (and Flint) evolved from timber - wood products - carriage industry to - the auto industry and what has prevented further evolution.
